On the grave of sculptor Adolphe Léofanti, a sculpture is set up which was created between 1880 and 1890.
It is in high relief, in white marble, and represents the Christ’s resurrection. This work would have been presented in Paris by the sculptor. But it seems that the sculpture hasn’t been estimate as would have wished Léofanti. Already depressive, the artist commits suicide on March 10th 1890, in the train from Paris to Rennes.
