The restoration of an important 16th century fresco, by Bartolomeo Cesi, located at the Certosa, the monumental cemetery of Bologna, has recently been concluded.

The restoration, byIstituzione Musei Civici – Museo del Risorgimento, has been made possible thanks to the contribution of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio in Bologna, as part of the three-year memorandum of understanding signed with the Municipality of Bologna, to preserve and enhance the town cemetery.
