In honour of Reformation Day and All Saints Day, Funeral services Maribor organized a Photo exhibition »Soul gardens, variety and heritage” in the cemetery chapel at Cemetery Pobrežje.
The exhibition attempted to reflect the equal values and diversity among European regions through exposure of differences and the similarities of monuments and cemeteries.
It was divided into various segments that invited the visitor to explore the space, often identified as Death and Darkness, but at the same time as green park or open-air museum, with a rich heritage, anecdotes and after all a life.
Photos collected from 16 European countries offered a short walk through the cultural heritage of European cemeteries.
