The
fathers of Bolognese archaeology and the Certosa
This
itinerary is dedicated to the founding fathers of Bolognese
archaeology: Giovanni Gozzadini and his wife and collaborator, Maria
Teresa Serego Alighieri, Antonio Zannoni and Edoardo Brizio. Visitors
will be taken on a fascinating voyage of discovery of their
activities, lives and enthusiasms through which to recover one’s
memory of one’s
own ancestors.

Saturday 31st May,
11 am - inauguration of the exhibition of
works by Bolognese photographer Mauro Squiz Daviddi who for the
photographic campaign undertaken for the publication of the volume
dedicated to Cincinnato Baruzzi (1796 - 1878) interpreted details,
views and atmospheres of œuvre of the most Bolognese sculptor of the
mid-19th century with his own sensitivity. On top of the photographs
and a video projection by Squiz Daviddi, the exhibition will present
some historic documents concerning Baruzzi.

Tenebrae factae sunt
A visit and a voyage through late-Renaissance Spanish music. The Accademia dei Galanti quartet will be offering a musical journey from De Victoria to Guerrero and some South American music in the enchanting space of the Certosa.
Organised by the Associazione Vox Vitae.
Tickets €10, of which €2 will be donated for the restoration of the Certosa. Prior booking required by calling 345.2699200 (afternoon - evening)
