Every last Sunday of the month, from May to October 2016, different activities are taking place at the Milan Monumental Cemetery.
During all day
Starting from the outside yard, thematic walks will be taking place in the eternity avenues at the cemetery, guided by Antonio Brucato, Valeria Cantoni and Giorgio Fiorese.At 10.00, 12.00, 14.00 and 15.00
At this hours, guided tours will start at the front yard of the cemetery, guided by volunteers of the Civil Service and the employees of the Monumental Cemetery. At 14.00 guided tours will be also possible in English language.From 10.00 - 15.00
In the conference room, visitors will have the possibility to watch the projection of three short movies made by students of the Municipal School of Cinema Luchino Visconti. The movies are: "Handling Life" by Alice Gagliardi, "Everything is held" by Chiara Specchiarello and "Drops" by Lorenzo Goria.From 10.00 - 17.00
A photo exhibition entitled “The Silence (chosen shots)” will be at disply in the conference room. At 15.30 there will be a meeting with the author Luigia Introini.At 11.00 and at 16.00
Between the avenues at the cemetery, staged readings will take place from the work “Prohibited Happiness” (Felicità vietata) by Luca Rodella. Directed by Luca Rodella, Stefano Annoni and Roberto Palasciano. Music by Francesco Marchetti and Roberto Dibitonto.At 12.30 and at 15.00
A short theatrical performance entitled “The corpses of Monteggia” (I cadaveri del Monteggia) by Emanuele Aldrovandi will take place in the west Gallery C. Directed by Luca Rodella and Stefano Annoni. Music by Francesco Marchetti.At 16.45
In the upper gallery of the east [A-B], a concert will take place where classical music and jazz will come together. Performing: the duo Caterina Caramella and Victor Gordo (violin and piano).You can see the program in Italian HERE.
