On Saturday, 25 August 2018, the
New Cemetery in Belgrade gladly responded to host participants, mentors and
alumni of the programs “Share your knowledge” and “Creative Mentorship”. With the
year 2018 being declared as the European Year of Cultural Heritage, this year’s
round table, that gathered participants and mentors of those two educational
and creative programs, was organized on the topic Measuring Women’s Contribution in Cultural Heritage. Thus, the New
Cemetery in Belgrade created a tailor made tour dedicated to extraordinary women.

with a unique touch to keep visitors’ attention at the highest level, made a thought-provoking experience as 
they kept strolling through the alleys of the
New Cemetery visiting monuments of ladies who changed the world. They witnessed
many exciting stories on those women who considerably provided to the community
and transformed the world through their art, free spirit, boldly nature and solidarity
facing prejudices, ignorance and all sorts of obstacles. Our participants
expressed their sincere gratitude and pleasure for organization of this tour
and we are happy to host many more custom made cemetery tours to answer our
visitor’s needs and keep raising awareness to the importance and significance
